Japan Overseas Development Corporation, or JODC, is a non-profit corporation subsidized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), having the purposes of contributing to the industrial development of mainly developing countries, and energizing of Japanese affiliated companies. For these purposes, we encourage the transfer of technology with support for the development of human resources by dispatching experts to Japanese affiliated companies and other appropriate companies or organizations in such countries.

JODC has following cooperation activities.
1. Expert Dispatch Program
ODA Type (JODC Expert Service Abroad [JESA] I Program) JODC dispatches experts to companies and private organizations, etc., in developing countries with the aim of fostering development of economic and industrial human resources in developing countries, facilitating business expansion of Japanese affiliated companies and improving management, skills, and other capacities of local companies. |

Role as AMEICC Secretariat
JODC performs a role as Secretariat of the AEM-METI Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee, or AMEICC, a body comprised of economic ministers of Japan and ASEAN member countries to discuss specific economic and industrial cooperation issues within the ASEAN region. |

Internship Program Overseas
JODC offers opportunities to gain work experience in overseas offices for Japanese students with the aim of developing future human resources in the overseas offices of Japanese small or medium-sized enterprises, and assists in the global expansion of those enterprises with the opinions offered by the students based on their experiences. |
